ROG Phantom 16 Star Edition: 16-inch Mini LED screen, A-side optical display matrix

ROG this year will push the phantom 16 Star Edition notebook, A-side has an optical matrix, and configuration upgraded to 13 generation Core and RTX 40 graphics card.

According to reports, the new flagship model Phantom 16 Star Edition is equipped with a 13th generation Intel Core i9-13900H processor and 140W GeForce RTX 4070 GPU, supporting dual-display three-mode hot-swap. The Nebula original screen is upgraded again to achieve an 1100 nits peak brightness display, and the partition backlight is upgraded to 1024. At the same time, this 16-inch 92% screen-to-body ratio Nebula screen has 2.5K resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, 1 billion colors, HDR 1000 support, Pantone color certification, and color gamut switching support.

The A-side features ROG’s exclusively designed AniMe Matrix display, with 18,710 holes milled with CNC precision and 1711 LED beads built in.

The notebook has dual SO-DIMM memory slots with 64GB support and 2TB SSD support, and interfaces including HDMI 2.1, USB-A, USB-C, Thunderbolt 4, and a microSD card slot. Battery capacity is 90Wh with 280W charger. Body thickness 2.11 ~ 2.29 cm, weight 2.1-2.3kg.

The Phantom 16 Star Edition is expected to be available starting in February.
