ROG handheld parameters announced: 7-inch 1080p 120Hz screen, Zen4 APU
ROG announced tonight the ROG handheld after the overseas video blogger Dave2D released more information about this product.
First, the ROG handheld is overall smaller than the Steam Deck, the screen is also 7 inches, but the resolution is higher, 1080p, the refresh rate is also 120Hz, and the brightness is 500 nits.
Configuration, this handheld is equipped with a custom AMD processor, Zen4 CPU + RDNA3 core graphics, specific specifications have not yet been announced. Cooling is dual fan + single heat pipe, support for SSD replacement.
According to the report, this handheld cooling is very good, running noise is only 20dB in comparison to Steam Deck noise is 37 dB.
The handheld is equipped with USB-C and Micro SD card slots, as well as a proprietary graphics docking port that supports the latest ROG RTX 4090 graphics dock.
Currently, ROG has not announced the release time and price of this handheld.
