Rockstar Games’ Mid-Autumn Festival greetings aroused widespread attention from players. The word “VI” can be seen behind the game pictures, suggesting that the “GTA 6” game is coming soon.
Rockstar Games tweeted that GTA Online has launched a special Mid-Autumn Festival event. Players who log in to the game from September 28 to October 4 will receive a red Happy Mid-Autumn T-shirt and a green Alpine hat in the game.
What excites players is not this T-shirt, but the word “VI” behind the game background, hinting that the “GTA 6” game is coming soon.
In an interview with CNBC, Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Rockstar’s parent company Take-Two Interactive, was asked about the release date of “GTA6” and hinted that 2025 will be a very good fiscal year for them. Total revenue is expected to reach $8 billion.
When asked about the development costs of “GTA 6”, he expressed his belief that the game will make a lot of money. He said:
The Grand Theft Auto series is probably the most profitable franchise in gaming history. We focus on costs, of course, and we have a three-part strategy. Be the most creative, the most innovative, the most efficient... There's no doubt that games like Grand Theft Auto will always be highly profitable.
