Ricoh recently launched a portable display model 150BW, with a 15.6-inch screen, and body weight of 715 grams.
The biggest highlight of this portable monitor is the Smart Streaming Engine (SSE) technology, which wirelessly connects to users’ iPhones and Android phones, allowing them to operate on a larger screen. SSE technology was developed by startup Team S, which was founded by former Sharp employees.
The wireless connection delay between the phone and the monitor is less than 100 milliseconds, and the official price is 78,000 yen (currently about RMB 4,040). The monitor does not save any data, reducing the risk of confidential information leakage.
