Google plans to launch the Wear OS 4 watch system this fall, and one of its highlights is a deeper integration of the Material You design language. The most intuitive feeling for consumers is that the colors are richer and the dial can be more freely defined.
According to foreign technology media 9to5Google, the Android version on which Wear OS 4 is based has been upgraded from Android 11 to Android 13, focusing on optimizing battery life and launching the Watch Face Format in a standardized manner.
The Media APK Insights team reverse-engineered the system and found that a new “Enable dynamic theme” option was introduced in the settings app, and many aspects such as color will be integrated into the Material You design.
Among them, the Quick Settings area has the most obvious change, and each available switch is recolored. For example, after the user turns on the yellow “Honey” theme shade, it will be matched with a golden brown theme color; while “Lavender” will be matched with a pink theme color.
