Foreign media Videocardz cited sources “MEGAsizeGPU” news that Nvidia’s upcoming RTX 4080 graphics card may have 12 GB memory and 16 GB memory two versions.

The source said that the RTX 4080’s 12GB GDDR6X memory reference design will use a 10-layer PCB, while the 16GB memory model will use a 12-layer PCB, and the two models will use completely different PCB schemes.

The RTX 4080 is expected to be equipped with AD103 GPU with 9728 CUDA cores and a TBP power consumption of 340W. Nvidia may launch the 12GB memory model first and the 16GB memory model later.

The news is that Nvidia will be the first to release RTX 4090 models in October, with 16384 CUDA cores, equipped with 24GB GDDR6X memory, and 450W TBP power consumption.
