The Redmi Pad was first launched in India. It’s a budget-oriented tablet offering some interesting set of specifications like MediaTek Helio G99 SoC and a 90Hz high refresh rate panel. There are no changes in the Indian variant and the Philippines variant of the Redmi Pad. They both offer the same specifications. Starting from the display, the tablet offers a 10.6-inches IPS LCD panel with 1200*2000 pixel resolution and a 90Hz high refresh rate support. Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset coupled with up to 6GB of RAM.
The tablet has got an 8-megapixel primary rear camera and an 8-megapixels front-facing selfie camera. The front camera comes with a 105-degree field of view and a Focus Frame function which automatically tracks your movement during video calls. It packs an 8000mAh battery with the support for 18W fast wired charging.

The Redmi Pad will boot up on Android 12-based MIUI 13 right out of the box and the brand guarantees up to 2 years of major Android upgrades and up to 3 years of security patches for the device. It has quad speakers with the support of Dolby Atmos. The pricing starts from PHP 14,999 for the base 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM variant.
