Redmi Pad is its first entry-level tablet and here are the pictures

On the evening of October 27, Redmi announced its first entry-level tablet, the Redmi Pad, with an all-metal unibody, 90Hz high-brush eye-protection screen, and Helio G99 processor, at a debut price of $1099.

Now, this tablet has come to our review room, and here are the pictures for you.

The Redmi Pad is designed with dual-material stitching or a three-section body, while the Redmi Pad has a special structure optimized to hide the WiFi antenna in the rear camera cover, achieving an all-metal unibody design with no antenna break.

The front side of the device features a full-screen design with equal width on all four sides and a bezel width of only 7.9mm, with a screen-to-body ratio of 85%.

The Redmi Pad is equipped with a 90Hz 2K high refresh screen that is unparalleled in its price range, making daily operations much smoother. The Redmi Pad is also certified by Rheinland Hardware Low Blue Light + SGS Low Visual Fatigue (the first tablet of its kind).

As an entry tablet, Redmi Pad is equipped with an Helio G99 processor with TSMC 6nm advanced process and 2xA76+6xA55 CPU architecture. Compared to its peers, the Redmi Pad is about 40% better in single-core performance, 12% better in multi-core performance, and 25% better in overall performance, providing enough performance to support daily use.

The Redmi Pad also comes with 128GB of mass storage and supports TF card expansion, making it easy to handle large amounts of photos and videos.

In terms of battery life, the Redmi Pad is equipped with an 8000mAh battery with a DOU battery life test of 2.21 days, which easily meets the needs of moderate to heavy use for more than 2 days. It supports 18W fast charging.

In terms of audio, the Redmi Pad is equipped with four large 1217 speakers with a symmetrical layout and supports Dolby Atmos stereo sound effects, bringing a stronger sense of presence for movies, TV shows and other viewing scenarios. It also supports human voice enhancement and is equipped with dual microphones for clearer listening and smoother communication in scenarios such as Internet classes and meetings.
