Xiaomi’s spin-off smartphone brand is preparing to launch the Redmi Note 12 series into the budget device market. The company has put out a teaser image pointing to the launch of this coming series, but it doesn’t state the product series launch date. From the teaser image, it is clear that this series will bring two new technologies to the budget smartphone industry.
We can gather that this coming launch event will bring up to three budget devices to the market. The launch event will take place in China, then other regions will start receiving the devices in the coming weeks. Some new features we expect to come with this series launch are a new processor and fast charging technology.

From rumours, the processor to be in use on the Pro+ model of the coming Redmi Note 12 series is the MediaTek Dimensity SoC. If this is close to being the actual processor, then the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ will be the first device to launch with the new 5G processor. Sources also claim that the coming series will make use of a 200MP camera sensor. This is realistic because the series’ predecessors became official with a 108MP main camera sensor.
Other available information on this series claims that the series will use a 210W fast charging ability on its Pro+ entry. At this moment we can’t confirm any of this information as Redmi has no official statement with regard to the series specification. In a few days, we will see the launch of the Redmi Note 12 series which will bring more competition to the budget smartphone industry.
