On May 24, Redmi launched the Note 11T Pro and Note 11T Pro +, priced from RMB 1,699. Today, a blogger has revealed the configuration information of its new iteration, the Redmi Note 12 series.
According to digital blogger @DigitalChat, Xiaomi will be releasing a new device powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 (expected to be the Xiaomi Civi 2), followed by a new device powered by MediaTek’s new Tiangui 1 series platform, which uses TSMC technology and has a flagship fast charging feature. The blogger’s previous reports suggest that this new phone with the new Tiangui 1-series platform is likely to be the Redmi Note 12 series.
On 26 August, Xiaomi updated the chargers with model numbers MDY-12-ED and 13-EU to support the 17V-10.5A up to 178.5W and 20V-10.5A up to 210W super flash charging protocols respectively. Given that the Redmi Note 11T Pro + already supports 120W fast charging, the new Redmi Note 12 series is expected to support 180W and even 210W fast charging.
Redmi’s previously announced Note 11T Pro series phones feature a 6.6-inch LCD screen that supports 144Hz 7-speed variable high-brush. The series is also powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8100 processor, and for the first time in the Redmi Note series, it comes with LPDDR5 running memory. In terms of imaging, the Note 11T Pro series phones feature a 16MP selfie camera on the front and a 64MP large base main camera on the rear.
