Redmi is reportedly working on a couple of new smartphones. In October, the brand may launch the Redmi Note 13 series in the Chinese market, and the Redmi K70 lineup may debut by the end of this year. A reliable tipster from China, Digital Chat Station, seems to have shared information about the Redmi K70 Pro.
In the screengrab above, the tipster is seen talking about the “sub-series flagship,” which appears to be the Redmi K70 series. The main flagship series appears to be the Xiaomi 14 lineup.
According to reports, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets will power the Redmi K70 and K70 Pro, respectively. In the above leak, the tipster seems to be talking about the K70 Pro. He revealed that the device will be equipped with a metallic middle frame and a telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
As per other reports, the Redmi K70 Pro may arrive with a 2K resolution display with a flat design and a 5,120mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging. The other details of the smartphone are yet to be revealed.
It is speculated that the 23117RK66C, 2311DRK48C, and 23113RKC6C model numbers are associated with the Redmi K70e, K70, and K70 Pro, respectively. The K70 lineup may debut in November or December this year. The K70 and K70 Pro are expected to get rebranded as the POCO F6 and F6 Pro, respectively, in the global market.
