In a new leak, tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed camera details about upcoming Xiaomi phones with different positioning for the Chinese market. He seems to be talking about the Redmi K60 Ultra and the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 that are expected to launch in August in China.
Redmi K60 Ultra, Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 camera details (rumored)
According to leaked information from Digital Chat Station, the main camera for Redmi K60 Ultra and the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 models will be a Sony IMX8xx-series 50-megapixel snapper. The K60 Ultra’s main camera will offer zoom capabilities ranging from 0.6X (ultra-wide), 1x, 2x, and up to 20x (digital zoom).
On the other hand, the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3’s main camera will offer 0.6x (ultra-wide), 1x, 3.2x, 5x, and up to 50X (digital zoom). Reports have revealed that the MIX Fold 3 will have a quad-camera setup featuring the aforementioned main camera, an ultra-wide camera, a telephoto camera, and a periscope zoom camera with 5x optical zoom.
DCS’ Weibo post suggests that the Redmi K60 Ultra’s successor will have a telephoto camera. He added that the successor of the MIX Fold 3 will have a periscope zoom camera with better specifications.
