On August 11, Xiaomi announced the Redmi K50 Supreme Edition phone. The Redmi K50 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor and starts at RMB 299. A blogger has revealed the configuration information of Redmi’s next-generation flagship phone, the Redmi K60 series.
According to digital blogger @DigitalChat, two of the new Redmi K60 series are equipped with a new 2K flexible straight screen with an eye protection dimming solution. The blogger was asked if the Redmi K60 Standard Edition supports 120W fast charging, to which the blogger replied, “No, it’s a huge battery solution”.
The blogger also said that the new Redmi K60 series will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon processors, but also with MediaTek Tiangui processors, and that the naming division of the new Redmi K60 series is uncertain at this time. Some people have speculated that the Redmi K60 Standard Edition will carry the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chip, the K60 Pro will carry the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, and the K60 Gaming Edition will carry the Tiangui 8100 iteration of the chip.
According to the blogger, the new Redmi K60 series will feature a 50-megapixel main camera with a large base and two fast charging options with a 100-watt battery. The optical under-screen fingerprint that many users have been waiting for will also return.
