Redmi K50S Pro bags 3C certification, fast charging capabilities revealed

Xiaomi will soon launch the Redmi K50S Pro smartphone as it has been spotted on the 3C authority of China. The device is also speculated to launch as Xiaomi 12T/Pro in the global market. The recent listing of the device sheds some light on the charging capabilities of the device.

Redmi K50S Pro 3C certified

The Chinese 3C authority has certified a new Xiaomi device with model number 22081212C. The letter “C” at the end of the model number confirms that the device is the Chinese version. It is expected to debut in Chian with the Redmi K50S Pro name. In global markets, it is likely to carry the Xiaomi 12T Pro moniker.

Redmi K50S Pro

According to the listing, it may come with the MDY 12-ED power adapter which supports a maximum output of 120W. This gives us a hint that the device will very well support up to 120W fast charging as we really don’t see any reason behind the brand giving a high-watt charger when the device doesn’t support it. Apart from this, the certification doesn’t tell us much about the device.

Redmi K50S Pro Specifications (rumoured)

The Redmi K50S Pro is going to be a flagship-grade smartphone offering some top-of-the-line specifications. The device is tipped to offer a 120Hz high refresh rate AMOLED display, and 120W fast charging support, and the device will come in 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variants with a possible 12GB variant.

It will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 flagship chipset. It will ship with the MIUI 13 skin based on Android 12. The primary camera on the device will also support Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). The NFC tag will be supported by the device. More information about the smartphone will be released soon.
