The Redmi Buds 4 Lite headphones have been rendered by 91mobiles and Kuba Wojciechowski, and it looks like Xiaomi will be releasing a new truly wireless Bluetooth headset.
91mobiles says the headphones have a design similar to Apple’s AirPods 3, especially the in-ear / non-in-ear design, which hints at a possible lack of active noise cancellation support, so let’s take a look.
In contrast, the Redmi Buds 3 Lite has a classic in-ear design, while the Redmi Buds 4 Lite has no trace of the family heritage, with a long handle/stick + earbuds design that is reminiscent of the best-known Apple AirPods.
We haven’t seen any hardware news on the headset yet, but it’s expected to build on the Redmi Buds 3 Lite and keep the price as low as possible.
The Redmi Buds 3 Lite is very lightweight at 4.3 grams per ear, features a 6mm driver, supports Bluetooth 5.2, and also supports ENC noise cancellation and has low latency features. The headset can last up to 5 hours on a single charge and up to 18 hours with the charging bay.
