The Red Magic game phone officially announced that the Red Magic 8 Pro series of phones have been opened for purchase. The price starts at 3999 CNY.
The Red Magic 8 Pro series will be launched at the end of December 2022. The Red Magic 8 Pro series is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 + full blood version LPDDR5X memory + UFS4.0 flash memory and is equipped with a self-developed Red Core R2 gaming chip.
The Red Magic 8 Pro series uses a 6.8-inch 2480×1116 BOE flexible OLED straight screen, known as the world’s first under-screen flexible straight screen, with a screen-to-body ratio of 93.7%, left and right borders of 1.48mm, and supports PWM dimming + DC dimming, and 120Hz refresh rate, 960Hz touch sampling rate, peak brightness of 1300nit, 10bit color depth, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and also equipped with off-screen fingerprint recognition and off-screen proactive.
The Red Magic 8 Pro has a built-in 6000mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging; the Red Magic 8 Pro+ has a built-in 5000mAh battery that supports 165W fast charging. In terms of imaging, the Red Magic 8 Pro has a front 16MP under-screen camera, and a rear 50MP main camera (Samsung S5KGN5, 1/1.57-inch super outsole) + 8MP ultra-wide-angle + 2MP macro triple camera.
