Realme Pad X 5G official images, configurations confirmed before May 26 launch

Realme is all set to unveil its first tablet, the Realme Pad X 5G, in China on May 26. Starting from today, the tablet is now available for pre-order on JD.com. The retailer listing has revealed the official images of the tablet. Moreover, it also confirms that the tablet will be available in two variants.

The Realme Pad X 5G comes in three colors: Bright Chessboard Green, Sea Salt Blue, and Star Grey. The base model of the device will come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage, whereas its higher edition will come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage. It is unclear whether the company will be offering the tablet in WiFi-only and WiFi + cellular editions.

The official images show that the Realme Pad X 5G sports a slim design with what appears to be a SIM slot on the left, a volume rocker on the right, and a power key at the top. The bottom edge of the device has a USB-C slot placed between a pair of speaker grilles. The tablet will also arrive with support for a stylus, which could be called the Realme Pen. A single-camera without an LED flash is available on the rear shell of the Realme Pad X 5G. As can be seen in the images, the green variant sports a strip of checkered design on the back.

Speculations are rife that the Realme Pad X 5G will feature an LCD screen that produces a Quad HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is likely to come with the Snapdragon 870 SoC and an 8,360mAh battery. There is a possibility that the device could be a rebranded version of the OPPO Pad.
