Realme Pad 5G specifications (rumored)

According to Digital Chat Station, there are two configurations of the Realme Pad 5G’s prototype. The first one features an LCD display that produces a 2.5K resolution and is powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset. The device will be backed by an 8,360mAh battery.

The tipster said that the tablet would arrive with a matching stylus. It appears that the device will be priced between 1,000 Yuan (~$147) and 2,000 Yuan (~$293).

The leaker also shared information about the Realme Pad 5G Master Explorer version. This device will be powered by the upcoming Qualcomm chipset, which has a part number of SM8475. it is being said that the chip may go official with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ marketing name.

A recent Weibo post by the same tipster revealed that the arrival of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ has been delayed. The SoC was expected to go official by early May, but it appears that the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has affected its launch. The tipster believes that the US-based chipmaker will announce the SD8G1+ in the second half of 2022. The SoC includes one prime Cortex-X2 core clocking at 3GHz, three Cortex-A710 performance cores, and four Cortex-A510 efficiency cores.

The Realme Pad 5G will be the third tablet from Realme. The first one was the Realme Pad which debuted in 2021 and earlier this year, it unveiled the Realme Pad Mini. At present, there is no information on the Realme Pad 5G launch date or pricing.
