Realme GT2 Explorer Master will use the LPDDR5X RAM

The Realme GT2 Explorer Master official launch is just a few days away, and more information regarding this device is now available. Everything from its processor to its memory type screams flagship. In this article, we’d only focus on one feature that makes this device unique.

From an official release, we confirmed that the GT2 Explorer Master will be the first of its kind. Asides from this coming device, there is no other available smartphone that uses the LPDDR5X RAM. What is currently available on most flagship devices is the LPDDR5 RAM type. What upgrades will this new memory type be to Realme’s coming flagship?

A notable upgrade will be speed, yes, the LPDDR5X RAM is faster than its predecessor. This new memory type offers a speed of up to 8.5Gbps, as against its predecessor’s 6.5Gbps speed. Power on this new memory type also gets a 20% boost from what was available on the previous LPDDR5 RAM.

This gives the Realme GT2 Explorer Master an edge over other available flagship devices. But, that’s not where it stops at being a unique device. This coming flagship also packs a lot of features that will make it a delight to use.

The processor it’d use, for example, is the fastest on the Android smartphone market. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 will be backed up by the LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. From official images, the bezels on this device’s screen are very slim and almost symmetrical all around. Design-wise, the GT2 Explorer Master is a fashionable device. We’d wait until July 12 to get the price and in-depth specifications of this device.
