Realme is expected to announce the Realme GT 5 Pro in November or December in China. The device is confirmed to feature the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Meanwhile, there are reports that claim that the affordable flagship phones coming in the near future will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. For instance, the Redmi K70, Honor 100 Pro, iQOO Neo 9 Pro, and OnePlus Ace 3 / 12R. A new rumor suggests that these devices will face competition from the Realme GT Neo 6.
As per a Chinese leaker, the Realme GT Neo 6 will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. There are some rumors that claim that there will be an underclocked version of the SD8G2. However, it is unclear whether the GT Neo 6 will have the regular or the underclocked chip.
In addition, the leaker revealed that the GT Neo 6 will have a metallic middle frame and a killer price of around 2,000 Yuan (~$275). Unfortunately, the leak has no information on the other specs of the device.
To recall, the Realme GT Neo 5 was announced in February 2023 in China. Hence, it is likely that the upcoming GT Neo 6 may debut around the same time in the coming year.
