Realme has announced the launch of the Realme GT Neo 3T Android 13 Beta open beta program in India with firmware version number RMX3371_11.A.08. Interested users, can apply for the Android 13 open beta program for the Realme GT Neo 3T phone by going to Settings > Software Update > Settings Icon > Trial Version > Submit Details > Apply Now. Users selected for the Realme GT Neo 3T Android 13 Beta Open Beta Program will receive the firmware update on their device within the next few days.
The Realme GT Neo 3T is powered by a Snapdragon 870 chip and comes pre-installed with Realme UI 3.0, which is based on Android 12. The device features a 6.62-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, a 64MP main camera + 8MP super wide-angle camera + 2MP macro camera on the rear, a 5000mAh battery and support for 80W fast charging.
Realme recommends that users back up their personal data before proceeding with the installation. Realme also asks users to make sure their device has at least 60% battery life before clicking the Install Now button. It is important to note that users with ROOT devices are not eligible for the program.
Realme says that users will experience a longer boot time after installing the Android 13 update and that the boot time will depend on the number of third-party apps installed on the device. In addition, the system will perform app adaptations, security scans and background optimizations, so battery life may be affected during the first few cycles.
Realme plans to roll out the Android 13 update for a range of devices launching in 2021 and 2022.
