Li Nan, former senior vice president of Meizu, released real-life photos of Meizu 21 Pro today, revealing that it was originally planned to be released on February 29 and priced at more than 5000 RMB. Li Nan gave a positive evaluation of the phone, but was not optimistic about its market prospects. Wan Zhiqiang, Assistant Vice President of Meizu Technology, forwarded and confirmed the news.
Meizu recently announced that it will stop its traditional “smartphone” new projects, including Meizu 21 Pro, Meizu 22 and Meizu 23, and fully transition to the AI field. Li Nan is pleased with the decision and said that there is no future without changing the track.
It is reported that Meizu 21 Pro has obtained 3C certification and network access permission. The models are M481Q and M481S. The certificate shows that it supports up to 80W fast charging and is produced by Lens Technology. Blogger @digitalchatstation said at the time that it would be equipped with an “extremely rare” 2K screen + large-area ultrasonic fingerprint, and would be launched after the holiday.
After the official announcement of the discontinuation of the Meizu 21 Pro project, it is still unclear whether the phone project will be completely abandoned or will be sold in other forms.
For reference, the Meizu 21 phone was released in November last year, priced from 3399 RMB, equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, equipped with a 6.55-inch Samsung OLED direct screen, supports ultrasonic fingerprint unlocking, uses a 4800mAh battery, supports 80W fast charging, and is equipped with Aicy AI large model.
