Qualcomm today announced the launch of the Snapdragon X75, X72 and X35 5G M.2 and LGA reference designs, expanding its product portfolio to be released in February 2022.

Qualcomm said that with the Snapdragon X75, X72 and X35 5G modem and radio frequency system, the product portfolio provides OEMs with a one-stop solution that is globally certified and can work with the 5G networks of all major mobile network operators in the world. Support the development of next-generation 5G devices and bring consumers a wide range of 5G devices from PCs to XR and gaming.
According to reports, these new reference designs integrate the modem, transceiver and RF front-end on a compact circuit board, allowing manufacturers to quickly and cost-effectively incorporate the functions of the new Snapdragon modem and RF system into new products to promote 5G Popularization to a wide range of terminal types.
The Snapdragon X75 and X72 5G reference designs support Sub-6GHz and millimeter wave frequency bands, while the Snapdragon X35 5G reference design is the first to support 5G NR-Light (3GPP Release 17 RedCap).
