Qualcomm issued a press release this Thursday, said for the purpose of purpose-oriented special-purpose vehicle (Purpose-Built Vehicle; PBV), to provide Snapdragon solutions to Hyundai Motor Group.
Hyundai is currently developing PBVs with next-generation mobility solutions that provide enhanced services in areas such as comfort, healthcare and business activities, in addition to safely transporting owners and passengers to their destinations.
The infotainment systems on these PBVs will use the Snapdragon Automotive Cockpit Platform for a “comprehensive, seamless connectivity and intelligent user experience,” Qualcomm said.
Citing a Qualcomm press release, officially said the latest-generation Snapdragon Automotive Cockpit Platform offers best-in-class power consumption while delivering top-notch graphics and a top-notch immersive multimedia and audio experience.
The latest generation Snapdragon Car Cockpit platform is equipped with the latest artificial intelligence engine and machine learning capabilities, enabling in-vehicle virtual assistance, adaptive human-machine interfaces, and other advanced applications that promote natural communication between vehicles and passengers.
The platform also offers location-based services, emergency calling, noise cancellation, dual SIM functionality, and a cloud-based monitoring and management system.
