Sony plans to live broadcast its global press conference at the CES 2023 exhibition on January 5 and the live countdown page has been launched. The content of the cover hints that PSVR2 is very likely to be unveiled at the press conference.
Sony PS VR2 has previously opened pre-orders, and the Hong Kong version is priced at 4,580 Hong Kong dollars (currently about 4,108 CNY), including PS VR2 headset, PS VR2 Sense handle and stereo headphones.
PlayStation VR2 will be launched on February 22, 2023, with a single-eye resolution of 2000*2040, and the viewing field of view has also been increased from 100 degrees to 110 degrees. In addition, PS VR2 has a built-in eye tracking system, which can make the interaction of the game more realistic, and with the help of the built-in four cameras, PS VR2 can accurately know the player’s position, so as to give accurate feedback in the game. However, it should be noted that the Sony PlayStation VR2 can only be used with the PlayStation 5 console, and is not compatible with the games of the previous generation PlayStation VR.
