Preview image of new Hyundai Creta to be launched in India on January 16

Recently, Hyundai Motor released a set of official preview images of the new Hyundai Creta. The new car has redesigned its appearance and interior, and added a 1.5T power version. It is now open for booking in the Indian market and is scheduled to be officially launched on January 16.

This generation of Hyundai Creta was first released in 2019. Its design language seems a bit outdated compared to other recent Hyundai models. Therefore, it has received a facelift this time. The front grille adopts a new matrix shape. The upper part of the split lamp group is a through-type daytime running lamp. The interior presents an “L” style. The lower high/low beam lamp is integrated with the front bumper, making the front face more concise. .

The rear of the car has also undergone major changes. It is also equipped with a through-type taillight group, and the internal structure of the light group echoes the headlights. The new Hyundai Creta will be available in 7 exterior colors, including 6 solid colors (Pearl Green, Fire Red, Khaki, Abyss Black, Atlas White, Titan Gray) and 1 dual-color (Atlas White/Black). .

In the interior, the new Hyundai Creta adopts a unified layout of the digital instrument panel and infotainment display, and the style of the air-conditioning outlets has also been adjusted to some extent. It is reported that the new car will also have certain improvements in ADAS intelligent driving assistance functions.

In terms of power, the new Hyundai Creta adds a 1.5-liter Kappa T-GDi gasoline engine with a maximum power of 160 horsepower (118kW), while continuing to provide a 1.5-liter MPi gasoline engine and a 1.5-liter CRDi diesel engine, both with a maximum power of 115 horsepower (85kW). Depending on the power system, there are four gearbox options: 6-speed manual gearbox, 6-speed automatic gearbox, CVT gearbox, and 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
