Porsche recently launched a new My Porsche application, further enhancing the CarPlay control of the vehicle, you can control the audio, air conditioning temperature, lighting and entertainment features in CarPlay.
Porsche has deeply integrated CarPlay functionality in the new version of the My Porsche app, specifically the ability to change radio stations, adjust the seats, control the interior temperature, and adjust the lighting, among other things. The report that all available vehicle functions can be controlled using Siri’s voice commands to allow for hands-free interactions while driving.
Porsche owners can activate the function by scanning the QR code displayed in the PCM, and the new CarPlay function will be made available to Porsche owners during the development process.
The first vehicle to support the new My Porsche App and CarPlay integration is the new Porsche Cayenne, which is available now. The updated app will be rolled out to the rest of the model range in the future.
