PopSockets’ long-term goal is said to be to build a complete product ecosystem through PlantCore. The creation of plant-derived materials is one of the main ways the company is working to realize its vision for the future.

In terms of specific material selection, PopSockets used corn starch, castor seeds, and canola oil to create this set of phone cases designed for drop protection.
