During tonight’s “Polestar Star Reaching Night” event, Polestar Motors announced a new Chinese market strategy and a new energy replenishment system.
According to reports, Polestar Motors will use methods such as self-construction, cooperation, and access to third-party public charging systems, and will launch 60 self-built charging stations in the first quarter of next year. At the same time, Polestar announced that it has reached the first batch of charging cooperation with Tesla, becoming the first “partner” to share the supercharging network with Tesla in China.
In terms of services, Polestar will launch the “Proxima” exclusive service in China, claiming that every car owner has a “Star Consultant” who can complete functions such as a full-time driver and personal assistant. As of the end of this year, Polestar has 55 retail stores in China, and it is expected to increase to 100 stores by June next year. It is expected that by the end of 2024, there will be 100 Volvo Cars after-sales service centers in 72 cities to provide services to Polestar owners.
During the event, the delivery price and more configuration information of Polestar 4 will be released one after another.
