According to The Verge, Polaroid today released the I-2 instant camera, priced at US$599.99.
The I-2 is reportedly Polaroid’s most powerful instant camera yet, with built-in manual controls and the sharpest new lens ever in the series.
According to reports, the I-2 has an autofocus lens with a three-group lens design. Polaroid claims the lens can take sharper photos than any other instant camera. At the same time, the lidar sensor can automatically adjust the lens according to the distance of the subject, allowing for more accurate focus even in low-light environments.
Additionally, the Polaroid I-2 added a small screen to allow users to manually adjust shutter speed, aperture, brightness, and shooting modes. There’s a USB-C port on the camera for charging and a 2.5mm jack for syncing an external flash.
