POCO X5 Pro to be released in India with Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chip

POCO chief Himanshu Tandon has hinted that the POCO X5 series will be released between January and February, while tipster @Yogesh Brar has said that the POCO X5 Pro will be launched in India sometime in the last week of this month.

The POCO X5 Pro will allegedly have the same specs as the Redmi Note 12 Extreme, at least in terms of hardware.

That is, it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor, LPDDR4X memory, UFS 2.2 flash memory, a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging, a 6.67-inch 2400×1080 OLED flexible straight screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate and 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming support.

This model will likely come with 12GB of memory and 256GB of storage, with a 16MP front camera and a 108MP rear main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 2MP macro sensor.

The Redmi Note 12 Pro Extreme Edition is pre-installed with MIUI 14, and supports IP53 protection, NFC, infrared remote control, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The domestic price starts at 1699 CNY.
