InoriRus has released a new version of its PS4/PS5 emulator Kyty 0.2.0. InoriRus says Kyty can run some simple PS4 games and PS5 homebrew programs, check out the emulator demo video! Kyty’s v0.2.0 package is only 15MB, so the game performance is not very good. Compared with the PS3 emulator RPCS3, the difference is too big.
Kyty is still in the very early stages and support for PS5 graphics is partially unfinished, so it will suffer from jaggies, crashes, freezing or lower frame rates. Features waiting to be perfected include audio input and output, MP4 video, networking, multi-user switching, etc. So don’t expect this emulator to run the latest PS5 games.
