Google announced the Google Pixel 7 series at I/O 2022 with a light touch, even giving us an early look at the devices. However, at the time the company only confirmed that these devices would launch sometime in the fall of 2022, and now that we may have some concrete information about when these phones will officially launch, perhaps we won’t have to wait much longer soon.
The Pixel 7 series will be available for pre-order on Oct. 6 and will be available on Oct. 13, according to leak god Jon Prosser, a “very reputable source.
Prosser also said that the Oct. 6 pre-order date will also be the date Google decides to officially launch the phones.
The blogger’s leaks are pretty reliable as far as device launches go, and it wouldn’t surprise us to see another launch event in October, as that’s the month Google usually chooses when launching new products.
The Pixel 7 series is expected to be an upgrade based on the Pixel 6 series, which saw Google make sweeping changes to the phone’s design from the inside out, with both devices receiving rave reviews from users and critics alike.
