Samsung has released some first-party bands for the Galaxy Watch smartwatch, including a basic silicone band and a rich metal band. In addition, Samsung Galaxy Watch watches come with a standard connector so users can swap out the bundled band for any regular band. Now, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 series have additional luxury band options using carbon fiber.
The carbon fiber band from accessories manufacturer Pitaka is compatible with the Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro watches. Lightweight (28 grams) but strong and modern. 100% carbon fiber material makes it very durable. The bracelet length of the band is adjustable and it comes with the tools needed to adjust the length.
The band also has a secure metal buckle that attaches magnetically, meaning it’s easy to put on and take off. The Samsung Galaxy Watch Series carbon fiber band retails for $89 in the U.S. (currently about RMB 611) and offers a 7-day return policy. Shipping is available worldwide, but users must pay customs fees.
The carbon fiber band for the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 series comes in only one color: black. So when used with a silver or any other color watch, it may look a little less effective than the black version.
