Last year it was reported that Hideo Kojima was developing a new game for the Xbox platform. No specific information about the game was announced in the news, only cooperation news was announced, and the game itself is an innovative design. There has been no new news since the project’s development was officially confirmed, and there was no intel on the game during the recent Tokyo Game Show.
During the Tokyo Game Show, Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer was interviewed and talked about Hideo Kojima’s game progress. Spencer said he plans to meet with Hideo Kojima next week.
“In fact, I plan to visit Hideo Kojima next week and meet at the studio. I’m looking forward to seeing how the project is progressing. I think the current game is going well. However, Hideo Kojima is an innovative game creator and is trying some Something new, and I think it needs to be done without being in the spotlight. I think it’s important to give him enough time to implement everything we have planned.”
There is currently no news about Hideo Kojima’s new work. At the same time, outside of the Xbox platform, Hideo Kojima is still developing a new game “Death Stranding 2”.
