Peugeot announced the launch of its E-LION electrification strategy in January this year, with the goal of launching five electric vehicles in the next two years. Officials recently shared the appearance and interior design of the E-3008 electric car.

Peugeot said that the E-3008 is its first model to adopt the new i-Cockpit infotainment system. The interior is equipped with a 21-inch curved panoramic display that extends from behind the steering wheel to the center of the dashboard.

There’s also a new digital instrument cluster, ambient LED lighting and a redesigned steering wheel with a digital alternative to traditional buttons.
The new E-3008 model is built on the STLA Medium platform and has a cruising range of up to 700km. In addition, the new car will provide three versions of power systems, including a dual-motor version.
Peugeot says it will announce more details on September 12.
