Nothing is about to launch its second smartphone Nothing Phone (2), Nothing CEO Pei Yu confirmed today that Nothing Phone (2) will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.

Pei Yu said that the performance of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 equipped with the Nothing Phone (2) will be greatly improved compared with the Snapdragon 778G+ of the Nothing Phone (1), and the reason for not choosing the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is “from the perspective of user interests.” Look, the cost/expense of using the latest technology is not always justified”.

“Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 ensures that Nothing Phone (2) remains accessible while delivering a significantly improved experience over Nothing Phone (1),” said Pei Yu.

According to previous reports, Nothing Phone (2) has appeared on the running score platform before, the model is A065, the single-core running score is 1253 points, and the multi-core running score is 3833 points. The main frequency of the processor is 3.0GHz, including three 2.5GHz high-performance cores and four 1.8GHz low-power cores. The phone also comes with 12GB of RAM, but an 8GB version is also possible.

According to previous reports, Nothing Phone (2) is expected to use a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen, support a refresh rate of 120Hz, and support the fingerprint recognition function under the screen, equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera, and will provide three memory storage combinations, respectively 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB.
