Panasonic has officially announced that the new LUMIX camera will be released on September 12, 22:00, and is expected to be the new M4/3 model Lumix G9 Ⅱ.
According to Photorumors, the Panasonic G9II will feature a 25.2 megapixel MFT sensor and will be upgraded with an upgraded sensor and image stabilization to include phase focus, making it Panasonic’s first M43 camera with phase focus.
In addition to the new camera, Panasonic will also introduce new versions of the following two lenses:
- Leica DG Vario-Elmarit 35-100mm f/2.8 Power O.I.S
- Leica DG Vario-Elmarit 100-400mm f / 4.0-6.3 II ASPH Power O.I.S. (Supports booster lenses for 1:2x magnification)
Panasonic launched the G9 flagship M4/3 camera in 2017 with a 20.3-megapixel digital Live MOS sensor with AR coating, support for fast autofocus and AFC 20 fps / AFS 60 fps continuous shooting, support for 4K 60p / 50p fluent video recording with up to 6.5 stops of stabilization, and also includes Dual IS 2.0 technology with an 80-megapixel Dual IS 2.0 technology is also included, with an 80-megapixel high-resolution handheld mode.
