Oukitel WP21 rugged phone released: powered by MediaTek Helio G99 chip, 9800mAh battery

Oukitel is a cell phone manufacturer from China and has launched a number of cell phone products in foreign countries, the main features are a high-capacity battery and rugged protection class.

Oukitel’s latest release, the WP21 rugged smartphone, brings the usual rugged phone specs such as water and dust resistance, and a large 9800mAh battery, along with other features such as a second AMOLED screen on the back and a built-in MediaTek Helio G99 chip.

The Oukitel WP21 comes with a 6.78-inch FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate screen, while the back has a second AMOLED screen that can display notifications, and music controls, and even serve as a camera viewfinder. oukitel also offers several different watch dial interfaces for the secondary screen.

The Oukitel WP21 phone has a 64MP primary camera on the rear with a Sony IMX 686 sensor, as well as a 20MP night vision lens and a 2MP macro camera.

The Oukitel WP21 is IP68 and IP69K rated, as well as MIL-STD-810H compliant, so users can use it in a variety of climates and conditions. The phone is not thin and light, however, with dimensions of 177.3 x 84.3 x 14.8mm and a weight of 398 grams.

The Oukitel WP21 phone supports 66W fast charging and has a built-in 9800mAh battery rated at 1150 hours of standby time and 12 hours of continuous video playback. The Oukitel WP21 offers 12GB of memory and 256GB of storage, expandable via microSD. The phone also comes with NFC, GNSS positioning, Bluetooth 5.0, and Android 12 pre-installed.

The Oukitel WP21 phone is priced at $280 (about RMB 1,999) and will be available on AliExpress from November 24.
