Along with the 2022 lineup of the iPhone 14 series, the brand has launched the new generation of Apple AirPods, the AirPods Pro 2 in the launch event. It has been launched as the successor of the Apple AirPods Pro and features some highly upgraded specifications and features such as up to 2X more active noise cancellation, improved bandwidth and upgraded sound quality.
Apple discontinued the original AirPods Pro; here’s why?
The Apple AirPods Pro’s successor has been released with the same price tag. Additionally, there is no reason to continue the predecessor unless and until there is a price difference between the two. Besides that, the original AirPods Pro have been phased out of the market because the AirPods Pro 2 have been introduced at the same price as the original AirPods Pro and has better specifications and features. The original AirPods Pro will no longer be produced after the remaining resources have been wiped out.
The listing of AirPods Pro has been removed from the official website of Apple. However, it is still available to buy on some third party e-commerce sites. We expect that it will also be marked out of stock from those websites as soon as the remaining units will be sold.

As for the AirPods Pro 2, it offers some upgraded features like up to 2X more effective Active Noise Cancellation as compared to its predecessor, improved bandwidth connectivity for seamless connection and improved sound signature for an unmatched listening experience. The AirPods Pro 2 is surely a better deal with upgraded specs and the same price tag as compared to the original AirPods Pro.
