Foreign technology media Android Authority recently published a blog post in which it tested the camera shutter delay problem of Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra in detail and found a simple solution.
Rita El Khoury, editor of the media, said that during her recent attendance at the MWC 2024 exhibition, she discovered that there was always a blurry figure in the background when taking photos, resulting in a face, a head, and a bit of hair appearing in the final image, indicating that the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra phone There is a camera lag issue.
Compare the Google Pixel 8 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra phones by exchanging the time for taking 20 consecutive photos with the left and right hands, and shoot in three time periods: daytime, afternoon and night with low light.
Across each set of 40 photos, the Galaxy S24 Ultra captured the stopwatch an average of 340 to 360 milliseconds later than the Pixel 8 Pro. The results were also pretty consistent between day and night.
Judging from the results, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is on average a third of a second slower than the Pixel 8 Pro, and sometimes even half a second slower.
A potential solution is for users to install a Good Lock module called Camera Assistant and enable Quick Tap through advanced camera settings.
