Oppo’s China business group has launched two new wearables predicts in the country; the Oppo Watch 3 and Oppo Watch 3 Pro. Both the smartwatches are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon W5 Gen1 chipset to offer a fluid experience. They also come with the support for Always on display and claimed improved battery life.
Oppo Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro; Specifications
Starting from the display, the Oppo Watch 3 offers a 1.75-inch Super AMOLED display with 3D glass on top and 372*430 pixel resolution. The Watch 3 Pro, on the other hand, has a slightly bigger 1.91-inch Super AMOLED panel LTPO variable refresh rate technology, and 378*496 pixel resolution. The former has a 400mAh battery with claimed charging time of 60 minutes. The latter has a bigger 550mAh battery with claimed charging time of 65 minutes, it can last up to 5 days on LTE usage and up to 15 days on light usage.
The Watch 3 comes with 1GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. Further, the support for Bluetooth 5.0, eSIM, NFC, 5ATM water resistance, GPS/Beidou/GLONASS/Galileo/QZSS, and Oppo’s Apollo 4 Plus coprocessor has been provided. Rest other specifications are similar on both the watches, an accelerometer, gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, optical heart rate monitor, blood oxygen sensor, ECG sensor, ambient light sensor, and air pressure sensor, as well as 100 workout modes and 150 watch faces
The Oppo Watch 3 Pro comes in Platinum Black and Desert Brown colour variants, and it weighs 37.5gms without the strap. The Watch 3 will be offered in Platinum Black and Feather Gold and it weighs 31.9g without the strap.

Oppo Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro; Price
The vanilla Watch 3 is priced at CNY 1499 (~$222) and the Watch 3 Pro is priced at CNY 1899 (~$282). They are already available for pre-order and will go on sale in China on August 19.
