OPPO quietly released the mid-range Reno8 T 4G and Reno8 T 5G phones, the new phones have been online on the Vietnam website.
OPPO Reno8 T
The LTE-only Reno8 T smartphone comes with a MediaTek chip and 100MP camera, while the 5G version of the Reno8 T comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip and 108MP main camera.
The OPPO Reno8 T smartphone features a 6.43-inch AMOLED top left corner perforated screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. Featuring a 180Hz touch sampling rate and is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. 32MP selfie camera on the front.
The OPPO Reno8 T smartphone features a triple rear camera with a 100MP main camera, plus 2MP depth and 2MP macro cameras. The main camera is surrounded by a ring of LED lights that doubles as a customizable notification light.
The OPPO Reno8 T 4G smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 chip and 8GB+256GB of storage with microSD expansion support. The phone comes with a 5000mAh battery and SuperVOOC fast charging. It runs ColorOS 13, which is based on Android 13.
Other connectivity options include a 3.5mm audio jack, USB-C port, Bluetooth 5.3, and support for all major GNSS.
The OPPO Reno8 T is available in two colors, including Starlight Black and Leather Sunset Orange. It is priced at VND8.49 million (currently about RMB 2445). The phone is already available at major online retailers in Vietnam.
OPPO Reno8 T 5G
5G networks are not expected to be widely deployed in Vietnam for a while due to infrastructure constraints, but OPPO is releasing the Reno8 T 5G first, powered by a Snapdragon 695 chip with 8GB of RAM.
The OPPO Reno8 T 5G features a 108 MP primary camera with autofocus and f / 1.7 aperture, 2 MP depth and 2 MP macro camera, and a 32 MP selfie camera on the front.
The OPPO Reno8 T 5G features a 6.7-inch 10-bit OLED center punch display with Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. It has a 2.5D curved surface and a brightness of up to 950 nits.
OPPO Reno8 T 5G has a built-in 4800 mAh battery with SuperVOOC 67W fast charging. There is no 3.5mm audio jack, but ColorOS 13 running on Android 13 is pre-installed.
The OPPO Reno8 T 5G is available in Starlight Black and Dawn Gold colors. The device is available for pre-order for VND9.9 million (currently about RMB 2,851). Most Vietnamese stores will sell the device bundled with a Bluetooth speaker that can also be used as a bedside lamp. Sales in South Asian countries will begin on February 10.
