According to ColorOS official announcement, OPPO Reno8 Pro+ 5G phone ColorOS 13.0 × Android 13 official version is open for upgrading.
Applicable models: Reno8 Pro+ 5G, official version number: Reno8 Pro+ 5G — C.13 and above.
Application Notes
- This upgrade will not erase user data, but it is recommended to back up important personal data before the upgrade.
- There are more common three-party applications that are not compatible with Android 13. After upgrading Android 13, third-party applications may not work properly (such as flashing, lagging, black screen, power consumption, etc.), so we suggest you try to update the application to the latest version in the software store first.
- Two days after the upgrade, the system background will carry out a series of adaptation and optimization actions, which may lead to heat, lag and fast power consumption of the phone. We suggest you restart the phone after charging for 2 hours after upgrading, or it will recover by itself after a period of normal use.
Application method
- Please make sure your phone version has been upgraded to the basic version A.24 (how to check the version number: Settings > About this phone > Version information > Version number)
- Please click “Settings > About this phone > Top version information (above “Phone name”) > Top right corner settings > Taste application > ColorOS 13 official version > check “I have read and agree to the Privacy Policy “> Apply Now”, click “Check for updates” after completing the application, detect and download the installed version to upgrade to ColorOS 13.0.
