OPPO has finally launched its much-awaited OPPO Reno 8 smartphone. The OPPO Reno 8 is a pretty good smartphone offering features like a 90Hz high refresh rate panel and Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset. A 4,500mAh battery powers the OPPO Reno 8 and supports 33W SuperVOOC charging.

The OPPO Reno has got 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, HDR 10+ certification, and a 90.8 per cent screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC which is built over a 6nm fabrication node and has got the same 4X CortexA-78 performance cores and 4X Cortex A-55 power-saving cores along with older generation Mali-G77 MC9 GPU.
The device has got triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixels Sony IMX 766 f/1.8 primary camera, an 8-megapixels secondary ultrawide and a 2-megapixels macro camera at last. It has got a 32-megapixels Sony IMX709 front-facing camera. Additionally, it has a 4500mAh battery that supports 33W quick charging. It will boot up on Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1 right out of the box.
The OPPO Reno 8 offers 4G LTE, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/A-GPS, Glonass, OTG, and a USB Type-C port as connectivity options. An accelerometer, gravity sensor, geomagnetic sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and a pedometer are among the sensors onboard. The device supports a face unlock function and has an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication.

Priced at IDR 49,99,000 ($337) for the single 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model, the Oppo Reno 8 is available now. It is presently available for pre-order on several e-commerce sites, including JD.com, Shopee, and Lazada, and it will go on sale starting on August 25. There are two colour choices available: Dawnlight Gold and Starlight Black.
