Oppo Reno 8 Pro price, specifications (rumoured)

According to rumours, the Oppo Reno 8 Pro, which has already been released in China, will come with the same features and a few minor changes here and there. It offers a 6.62-inches AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ 1080*2400 pixel resolution, HDR10+ certification and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The MediaTek Dimesity 8100 chipset is rumoured to power the Indian variant, while the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen1 processor powers the Chinese version.

In terms of cameras, it has got a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixels Sony IMX 766 primary camera sensor with OIS, 8-megapixels secondary ultrawide and 2-megapixels macro sensor. Notably, it comes with Oppo’s custom MariSilicon X Imaging NPU which could result in better images and videos. On the front, it has got a 32-megapixels selfie snapper. The device is powered by a 4500mAh battery with support for 80W fast wired charging.

The Reno 8 Pro was priced at CNY 2,999 (roughly INR 35,000) for the base 8GB+128GB variant in China. Keeping the Chinese price in mind, we expect the device to be priced below INR 45,000 for the base variant and it can go all the way around INR 50,000 for the highest-end model. The official launch will shed more light on the pricing of the device.
