OPPO announced its Android 13-based ColorOS 13 skin last month. Soon after that, the beta testing of the UI was started. The OPPO flagship smartphones were the first ones to bag the beta testing and the brand soon expanded the testing to other ranges of smartphones. Now, the OPPO Reno 8 Pro 5G and OPPO F21 Pro have started receiving the ColorOS 13 beta update in India.

The beta testing for the OPPO Reno 8 Pro 5G and the F21 Pro has been started in India. To apply for the beta testing, go to settings, then head over to about device, then tap on the icon present in the top right corner, now click on “Trial Versions”. Now fill in the required information and submit it. As soon as you submit it, it will go to the brand for approval, if your form gets approved, you will get the beta update on your device soon.
Regarding the ColorOS 13 skin, it introduces the card-style layout and a brand-new Aquamorphic design. Increased battery life and the ability to run more open apps in the background are two significant enhancements made to ColorOS 13 by its proprietary Dynamic computing engine. In order to enhance the Android OS experience, OPPO further stated that it collaborated closely with Google on the development of ColorOS 13.

Along with its own emphasis on security and privacy, ColorOS 13 incorporates Android 13’s underlying privacy protection features. With just one tap, Auto Pixelate recognises and automatically blurs out the profile photos and names in chat screenshots using the on-device algorithm model. High levels of security are offered by the new Private Safe’s encryption using the popular Advanced Encryption Standard (AES).
