OPPO Pad Air is all set to launch on May 23 in China. It is the second tablet from the brand after the OPPO Pad, which was announced in February this year. Before its launch, the Chinese manufacturer has released a poster of the device to give a good look at its design.
OPPO Pad Air design, variants
The OPPO Pad Air is now listed on JD.com for pre-orders. It confirms that the tablet will arrive in Fog Grey and Star Silver. The official poster shown above gives a good look at both color variants.
As can be seen, both color editions have a dual-tone finish. The back panel of the tablet features a single camera at the upper-left corner and an OPPO branding at the center. At the upfront, it sports a typical tablet-like design. The selfie snapper is placed on the right edge, which indicates that it is designed to be used in landscape orientation at least for video calls.
The OPPO Pad Air will be arriving in three variants such as 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. The original OPPO Pad starts at CNY 2,299 ($340). So, it is likely that the Pad Air may start around CNY 1,599 ($237).
OPPO Pad Air specifications (rumored)
The OPPO Pad Air will feature a 10.36-inch LCD screen that produces a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels and a 60Hz refresh rate. It has a 5-megapixel Hynix Hi556 front camera and an 8MP Hi846 rear camera.
The Snapdragon 680 SoC and a 7,100mAh battery powers the device. The device comes with other features such as ColorOS 12.1 for Pad, quad speakers, and 18W charging.
