OPPO’s new device pass 3C certification, a launch is imminent

An OPPO 5G device with the model number PGAM10 passed the 3C certification and is now on the national network. The launch of this device might just be around the corner, some sources have called these devices the OPPO Reno 8. The Reno 8 will be the successor to the Reno 7 launched a few months ago, what upgrades will this device come with? Let us take a look at the leaked specs.

Weibo leaker and blogger Digital Chat Station mentioned some of the specifications to look out for on the Reno 8. The screen size expected on this device will be a 6.55 inch OLED display and support refresh rates at 120Hz. The display will house the selfie camera cutout, which is at the left top corner of the screen. 

From leaks, the said Reno 8 camera setup on this device is a triple camera setup. It houses a 50MP main camera, alongside two other camera lenses that might be less powerful than the main camera. The lens on the main camera is to be the Sony IMX766 lens. This is the same lens we have on the OPPO K10 and K10 Pro, the OnePlus 10R and the OnePlus Ace

According to leakers, the OPPO new device will use a processor from the Snapdragon 7 series. Most likely, this processor is the yet to be released Snapdragon 7 Gen1. The 4500mAh battery of this device can be charged with its a 80W fast charge. For security, the device has a front face fingerprint sensor. 

Confirmation as to the exact OPPO device that this model will be isn’t out yet. There is no official statement from OPPO as to the launch date or full specs of this device.
