According to foreign media thetechoutlook, OPPO’s extended reality headset OPPO MR Glass, which was demonstrated in the first half of this year, has appeared in the Bluetooth SIG database. The data shows that this headset supports Bluetooth 5.2 connection while supporting functions such as games, watching movies, sports and virtual reality.

It was previously reported that OPPO displayed the OPPO MR Glass headset at the 2023 Augmented Reality World Expo (AWE). It will serve as a developer kit for Snapdragon Spaces and will meet Chinese developers through Beijing Shenmu Technology Co., Ltd. (EnlightXR) in the second half of 2023.
OPPO has stated that MR (Mixed Reality) in the XR field is currently one of the most achievable directions that meets user needs. OPPO MR Glass is also an official developer kit of Snapdragon Spaces.

According to officials, OPPO MR Glass integrates leading innovative technologies to provide developers with ideal tools to verify and develop rich XR content. OPPO MR Glass is equipped with the Snapdragon XR2+ platform and features OPPO’s exclusive SUPERVOOC flash charging and heart rate detection functions, ensuring an efficient charging experience and giving MR Glass diverse functions.
At the same time, the body and mask of OPPO MR Glass are made of skin-friendly materials, which significantly improves comfort and prevents stuffiness when worn for a long time. In terms of visual experience, OPPO MR Glass uses color binocular video pass-through technology (Binocular Video Pass Through), front-facing dual RGB cameras, Pancake optical lenses, and a 120Hz high refresh rate screen.
